- LIPS-10 Laser Printer Set Up Program
-
- 1. General
-
- For the full use of the laser printers, the user should know
- the special sequence code for the printer setup. Some laser
- printers require the codes started by ESC. On the other hand,
- the LIPS-10 laser printer allows the easy setup to the user
- by using the front panel. This program covers all setup
- parameters which the user can select from the front panel,
- however, this program is not the substitution for the front
- panel setup, rather another easy setup method. For more
- information about the LIPS-10 laser printer, contact to the
- CIET (C.Itoh Electronics Terminals) at (714) 662-1421.

- 2. Details about program
-
- 1) Function Keys
-
- This program is not complicated to use. Some function keys
- are assigned for special purpose.
-
- <ESC> : ends the program and returns to DOS
- <F1> : displays the help screen
- <F4> : resets to the default setup
- <F5> : sets the printer
-
- 2) Display Adapter
-
- The computer must have the CGA or the EGA. This program does
- not run on the MDA. If the DIP switch is set to the MDA, the
- program simply will display the message and returns to DOS.
-
- 3) Printer Port
-
- For the parallel port, LPT1 to LPT3, are supported. For the
- serial port, COM1 to COM2, are supported. When setting the
- printer, if the printer is not connected, probably the
- program will hang up.
